Content Manager

INDUSTRIAL, an industrial-focused B2B brand and marketing agency, is looking for a talented Content Manager to direct and coordinate content production for its clients. Duties include creating content strategies, executing communications plans, managing a small pool of freelancers, and ensuring that content is ready for publication on time.

The Content Manager must be a passionate content creator and editor with exceptional organizational skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines while juggling multiple projects.

The diversity of our B2B industrial clientele requires resourcefulness. The Content Manager must be comfortable with researching and familiarizing him- or herself with technical subject matter and conveying that information in a way that is marketable.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Content Director to develop content strategies and communications plans
  • Conduct audits of existing materials
  • Research competitors and content topics
  • Collaborate with team members to develop strategies and execute communications plans
  • Maintain editorial calendars
  • Author content, including websites, blogs, white papers, case studies, and print collateral
  • Interview clients or other subject matter experts
  • Manage small pool of freelance content producers
  • Edit, proofread, and generally QC content prior to publication


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or related field
  • 3–4 years of editorial experience
  • Familiarity with digital publishing best practices and platforms
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize
  • Great communications and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, technical subject matter
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Integrity, sense of humor, and high energy
